Elegant Cheese Cakes® owner and pastry chef Susan Morgan has
designed wedding cakes, celebration cakes, and other
chocolate delicacies since 1988. Heralded as one of the top
“25 trendsetters” in Modern Bride (June/July 2005),
Susan enjoys a national reputation as a master chocolatière
as she pairs her imaginative chocolate artistry with
original flavors, quickly evident in her cheesecakes and
traditional cakes. She and her hardworking team of artisans
do their magic in a commercial kitchen in Half Moon Bay,
located near San Francisco. Elegant Cheese Cakes® delivers
cakes locally and ships overnight via Federal Express to
customers in the continental United States.
Susan's philosophy is that her creations should be as
distinctive as the events at which they debut. She invites
potential customers to sample her wares and peruse her
extensive portfolio for ideas. However, Susan, a veritable
visual artist and sculptor, is just as apt to don a
sketching pad and colored pencils and work with her
customers to create a completely original design. Susan’s
primary goal is to meet her customers’ expectations of a
show-stopping dessert, and she is successful. Many of her
customers return to Elegant Cheese Cakes® to order cakes for
other celebrations because they appreciate her excellent
customer service and her willingness to dash off a cake for
that last-minute party that simply must feature one of
Susan’s signature cakes.
Flavors do not suffer at the expense of custom design. On
the contrary. Susan’s years of experience working in the
chemistry lab called her kitchen is evident in the
variety of
flavors incorporated into her desserts.
Further, she spares no expense in choosing quality
ingredients in her always-made-from-scratch desserts and
prides herself on using only pure ingredients in her many
flavors of cheesecakes and crusts and traditional desserts.
